Wow! You know you are old when your baby girl graduates from college. I am way behind on this one--I was waiting for the picture to come in the mail. Per usual, we got to ceremony and I didn't bring a camera! Alaina saved the day, but when she went to take the picture of Kara coming up the isle, she only got the back of her head. So, I went on the safe side and ordered a good shot.Kara, I am so proud of you. This has been a long road of discovery for you. You started in one direction only to discover that your heart was in a totally different place. You had the courage to change even though it meant more classes and more time. So much like life. We often find ourselves on a path that is good, but does not provide for us the opportunity to build our talents and serve others. Its the good, better, best thing. Who would have known that you loved numbers so much. You certainly didn't get that from me! I can't even correctly count how many are coming to dinner. We appreciate all your hard work during school and your talents at work. You are such an important cog in the Majestic wheel, but more importantly the Mickelsen wheel. We love you so much. You can do ANYTHING you want to do.
So here you are Kara with your own 'AA'
You've done all the work, so be on your way.
With brains in your head and shoes full of feet
You will find that life is really quite sweet.
You were sent here to earth with gifts galore
And the harder you try--you'll get even more.
We'll always support you and love you tons too,
Nothing makes us happier than you being you!
